“Giugiaro Architettura” presents its strategy in light of new laws regarding stadiums

Milan – “Giugiaro Architettura” will present its new intervention strategy as it confronts legislative and entrepreneurial aspects regarding the construction of stadiums. During the conference entitled “Stadiums. Great new opportunities” (Milan, June 8th, EIRE –Expo Italia Real Estate) regarding new laws that are undergoing the final stages of approval at the Chamber of Deputies (lowest house in the Italian Parliament) that anticipates new measures to be adopted for the re-qualification or realization of any new sport complex.

Aldo Cingolani, Chairman for Giugiaro Architettura promoter of the convention together with GE.FI and patronage of the (Italian) Football Association and F.I.G.C., will address the subject regarding the changes brought on by the new legislation that sports, entrepreneurial and public administration will have to face. What will actually change? But more importantly, how will the new laws become a driving force for future economic growth?

“The essential element is a new concept of the stadium, seen as a multi-functional structure open to the entire family with areas dedicated to sports, catering, entertainment, wellbeing and free time that can be used throughout the week” underlines Aldo Cingolani. “It’s a radical change, which not only concerns architects, contractors and sports associations but also commercial operators, hotel chains, catering services, other associated services and the respective production.

Giugiaro Architettura has in fact built a network of specialists that can tackle all aspects related to the realization of such sport complexes. These will provide Public Administration officials and private trade operators with highly specialized partners in every field from accommodation facilities/hotel industry to the catering industry from technology to commercial development.

The conference will emphasize the development opportunities that the new laws will bring to the national economy and to changes foreseen for future stadiums in Italy.
